The Neighbourhood Project is building a global movement of local people, shaping projects that make their neighbourhoods stronger and more connected.

These practical placemaking projects breathe new life into local spaces, while inspiring people to connect. At the same time, the program offers strategic support behind the scenes to help governments and urban managers become more community-led, reduce red tape, and embed long-term change.

People & Place: A DIY neighbourhood experiment w/ CoDesign, Pt.1

Keen to run a mini project in your neighbourhood? Doesn't matter if you have an idea or even much time, come on down to MPavilion tomorrow to learn the 101 and meet others to help! See you there... and of course we'd forgive you if you brought a picnic 🌞 #TNPnews #TNPevents

People & Place: A DIY neighbourhood experiment w/ CoDesign, Pt.1Nov 25, 11:00amMPavilionPlacemaking is for everyone. Anyone can help create meaningful and inclusive places that people want to be in. In fact, thriving and resilient cities depend on it.

Put the principles of placemaking into practice at 'People & Place', Melbourne’s first DIY neighbourhood improvement social experiment, connecting people to place through an inspiring (and simple) process of change dream-trading.co.za/melbet-promo-code-and-deposit-bonus.

@[334374689837:274:CoDesign Studio]’s CEO and co-founder, Lucinda Hartley, will lead this collaborative and highly engaging two-part workshop with a ‘Placemaking 101’ for the design-curious. Then, a group of strangers with no previous design experience will apply what they’ve learned in a real-world, anything goes experiment. The CoDesign team will mentor participants along their journey, concluding after 21 days when participants reconvene at MPavilion to share their experiences and swap insights.

This is the first workshop in a two-part series. Part II will take place on Saturday 16 December.

I would love to be there if I wasn't working.

Please tell us that the Sunshine Coast Council was there because they need all the help they can possibly get.
