UPDATES

Check back for Neighbourhood Project updates, upcoming events, interesting articles from our team and partners, and ways to get involved.

The past week at #placemakingweek2017 #amsterdam has been full of practical insights into community-led, human scale cities from Lima to Nairobi.

It was an absolute privilege to share our impact stories and lessons learned from Australia and the #neighbourhoodproject, and encouraging to hear others on the other side of the globe faced the same challenges. There is a strong and growing movement to make cities better for people, by encouraging citizen-led urban development.

While we negotiate selection for the Neighbourhood Project Bootcamp, enjoy this overview of the EOIs, which were super inspiring - a big high five to all 91 community applicants (especially the 22% planning their first ever local project)! Melbourne is in good hands with you. #TNPnews

If I could apply again I would. 🙂

Great work CoDesign. Authentic people lead placemaking is the way to a much brighter future. Despite the hurdles when they arise - the outcomes are enriching to people, planet and place, and never been so urgently needed.
